Nadcap accreditation preparation through improved information management

Nadcap accreditation challenge:

improve operating efficiency across various plants and processes, remove as much paperwork (main source of errors) as possible and rely on the control and movement of electronic operating information.

 

Implementation:

A custom database within the EurothermSuite environment was designed and developed . This acts as the interface between the existing business system and new additional recorders installed into the current existing process plant.

There was no disruption to the proven process operation as the existing integrity of the current process control solutions was preserved. The introduction of the additional recorder instruments accommodated the required security and process audit capabilities.  An important requirement when Nadcap accreditation is required.

The implementation is designed for individual plants and/or processes to be incorporated into the new environment as and when convenient.  Therefore enabling costs to be minimized and any disruption to production kept to a minimum.
